Flat cap screws are quick-assembly binding shafts which push together to close. Like our ultra-short clear screw posts, they can be pushed together with your fingers.
Flat cap screws should be considered semi-permanent fasteners. The screws have circular rings, not threads. Since the screw will protrude through the button head, these are best used where the back side of the item being bound is not visible.
4-1/2" aluminum screw posts are designed for binding ledgers, computer printouts, and other very thick books. Of course you can use our screw posts to connect just about anything that you can punch or drill a 1/4" diameter hole through. 3/16" large-head push-lock screws are available in black and white. They are ideal for rapid assembly of swatch books, brochures, or nearly any material that needs to be bound together. No need to screw the posts together, just press them together with your fingers.
Round Head Heavy Duty Steel screw posts are zinc coated steel posts having a large head at one end and a threaded hole at the other. A large-headed screw threads into the threaded hole on the post, allowing the assembly to be opened and closed. These posts are much stronger than our aluminum or plastic posts. These 3/4 inch bright brass binding posts and screws are the same shape and size as our aluminum screw posts, but they are made from solid brass. Our 3/16" Aluminum screw posts are designed for binding a small number of sheets of paper together. They are perfect for menus and wine lists as well as other documents. They can be opened to insert or replace pages, and you dont even need to use any tools.
