4-1/2" Aluminum Chicago Screws

Aluminum Chicago screws are aluminum posts having a large head at one end and a threaded hole at the other. A large-headed screw threads into the threaded hole on the post, allowing the assembly to be opened and closed.

• The post length is 4-1/2". Post length is the maximum binding thickness (inside length.) The overall length of a post with the screw installed is approximately 4-5/8". The length may be extended using Chicago screw extensions.
• Posts and extensions are 3/16" diameter. They are designed to fit in an industry standard 1/4" punched or drilled hole. Post and screw heads are 7/16" diameter and 1/16" thick. The screw thread is #8-32.

• 3/8" long screws are furnished with all posts.
• Quantity per package is 100 for all aluminum screw posts. We can supply larger quantities on request. Please call for a quote on orders of 30 or more packages.
• Extensions may be added to the posts. Multiple extensions may be used to extend the post length to the exact size needed.
