3/8" Round Head Heavy Duty Steel Screw Posts (100 Sets)

Round Head Heavy Duty Steel screw posts are zinc coated steel posts having a large head at one end and a threaded hole at the other. A large-headed screw threads into the threaded hole on the post, allowing the assembly to be opened and closed. These posts are much stronger than our aluminum or plastic posts. They are recommended for binding exceptionally large or heavy materials.

The post length is 3/8" and the diameter is 1/4". Post length is the maximum binding thickness (inside length.) The overall length of a post with the screw installed is approximately 5/8". We recommend that you punch or drill a 5/16" hole when using these posts.

If you don't need the extra high strength, we recommend our industry standard aluminum screw posts. For a different look, please consider our plastic screw posts.

Specifications:

• Posts have a combo (both slotted and phillips) truss head.
• Screws are 1/4" long and have a combo (both slotted and phillips) truss head. The screw thread is #10-24.
